CPRE Marks

North Yorkshire CPRE are able to recognise different achievements throughout the County with a 'CPRE Mark'. This award will be given by an individual District or by the County Branch itself for outstanding achievements and contributions made towards preserving the North Yorkshire countryside in a special or unique way.

Awards will be given for a variety of projeects which could include the following: particulary good sustainable design, promotion of local produce, valuable research, farming practise, rural enterprise etc.

Past awards have been given to local farm shops for promoting local producers and only selling locally sourced goods. (Ryedale District Group awarded Cedar Barn Farm Shop, Pickering with a CPRE mark in 2012).
