Wednesday, 17 May 2017 07:02

North Yorkshire County Council are currently consulting regarding use of Seggimire Lane in the North York Moors National Park

CPRENY have responded to this consultation, urging the County Council to impose a permanent TRO or traffic regulation order on this medieval green lane.

Why?  Are we being kill joys because we want to prohibit trails bikes from using this ancient trod paved in part with old flagstones and set in the North York Moors National Park?  Some would say we are however, we campaign to protect and enhance our precious countryside and heritage assets.  Our National Parks, in particular the NYMNP are tranquil by nature and tranquil with nature.  People visit to enjoy the special qualities which includes the setting, character and appearance, landscape, night  skies, biodiversity and... tranquillity.
