On the 25th of July, concerned residents contacted CPRENY asking for support regarding an application to build new homes outside development limits. The information under our new system of operation was quickly forwarded to the Y&S local volunteer group who, against the odds managed to consider the objection, send in a planning comment (which was to object on material planning grounds) and thus fulfull our charitable objects. Our aim is to protect and enhance the countryside of North Yorkshire and the settlements within. Where the harm of a proposal outweighs the benefits we object. If a proposal will benefit the countryside and communities naturally, we would support it providing it was a sustainable (in the true meaning of the word!) proposal. We are naturally, looking for examples of positive development in North Yorkshire and if you know of any, do send them in to cprecraven@me.com as we beleive positive development should be shouted from roof tops!
