The application slight reduces the size of the building and slight reduces the visual impact however, the visual impact REMAINS.  The local village No enivironmental impact assessment was ever undertaken on this major development, the site sits close to the YDNP and the Long Preston Conservation area, key water courses have been culverted within and there has been unlawful removal of hedgerows and trees.    As the local campaign group keeps on saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.  The site is huge and threatens to dwarf surrounding villages and subsume the hamlet of Bendgate.  The site is only screened for part of the year when the trees are in full leaf.  If screening is deemed necessary then it means all the time not just the summer months!
