CPRE North Yorkshire (Craven) worked closely with local residents to lobby against the proposal to build 22 houses in the Ingleton Conservation area (next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park).  Historic England and the Parish Council objected.  Again, this is about building the right thing at the right time in the right place and this was NOT the right place for the right reasons!  Ingleton has seen its fair share of development over the last few years and work has to continue to ensure that we maintain the character and appearance of this key settlement in the Yorkshire Dales.
