Conference calls between the team are running about two to three times per week and we have adapted the charity to respond professionally and swiftly to threats facing our countryside
Our new admin Fran, is achieving miracles and jumping through hoops as both planning and enhancement/liaison projects are dropped on her desk for formatting or distribution.
We welcome Beth Davies to the team recently. Beth is a heritage expert and formerly worked at the North York Moors national park. Beth's first piece of work was to examine the heritage issues at Carleton in relation to the Grundy Farm application. The indepth and professional response on heritage combined with KVA's planning expertise produced an excellent and balanced argument regarding this application. Our chair referred to both KVA and One Voyage as 'the dream team'!
We now have a new admin address to ensure that all mail now goes into one central mailbox and the address will move with the charity and ensures we miss nothing! On too many occasions in the past, personal email addresses were used to send official CPRENorthYorkshire communications and then when the owner of the personal email left, notifications went with them! The new admin mail box now means that all trustees can see in one stop, what is going on across the county!
