Poppy says...

Poppy’s story talks about Dalby Forest

Dalby Observatory (along with Sutton Bank and Danny) are Dark Sky Discovery sites in the Milky Way Class - because this galaxy is often visible to the naked eye from these areas.

CPRE have long campaigned to ensure our dark skies remain free from light pollution.

CPRE’s Emma Marrington who works hard to promote and protect our dark skies and tranquillity is one of the judges of our competition!
