To enjoy food at it's best cook in season.  Buy local or grow your own to save food miles.  The 'Hungry Gap' is upon us with little growing however what does grow shouldn't be missed!

Here's a well tested Rhubarb compote recipe which can be added to yoghurts or served with icecream!  It's particularly good served warm with a really good vanilla icecream!

an amusing moment

One of the districts in the North Yorkshire area faces countless planning issues.

CPRENY supports a local group known as SOCC or Save OUR Craven Countryside.

They recently published this image on their facebook page!!  The credit must go to the card company who produce this card - all will agree though, this must be the most frequently made comment amongst members of CPRE NY

CPRE NY takes the bull by the horns!

CPRE North Yorkshire Branch has changed in the last eighteen months.

We are now are in the process of identifying and delivering what our volunteers and members tell us they really need.

Our first Planning Course known as Planning 101 will be delivered in the afternoon session of the next trustee meeting.
