The new CIO charity begins!

The Trustee Board of the new Charitable Incorpated Organisation CPRENY number 1174989 met today for the first time in Thirsk.

The Board debated and discussed the strategic management of the Branch.  The next meeting of the CIO is set for 10th April with the afternoon

session available to offer planning information to local planning wardens.

A message from our Chair: The most important thing I have to say to all our members in North Yorkshire is THANK YOU!

Ryedale Authority Local Plan

CPRENY respond to Ryedale Local Plan consultation!

Actually - it's quite impressive.  The authority  are keeping a policy on Visually Important Undeveloped Areas - well done Ryedale.

It's a very straight forward consultation.  Their LPS was adopted in 2013 and this document allocates sites, most of which are already committed and carried forwards from the old plan.  RDC have a FIVE YEAR supply so they haven't over-allocated land, those allocated sites are either long standing sites, brownfield or in-fill or urban centres.

If only all plans were this straightforwards!

Right homes, right place and right reasons.  This is a case of wrong place, certainly the wrong time and the reasons?  Well it's obvious from our objection

Right now - this site is in the open countryside, outside development limits and is contra to local and national policy.

If at some stage in the future the site is included in the local plan being worked on right now, then THAT IS THE TIME TO APPLY FOR PLANNING PERMISSION!

CPRENY continues to object to further expansion of this caravan site at Hellifield that has continuously managed to grow and presents a clear and present danger to the local landscape and villages.

Pickering railway shed

We were contacted by the public regarding this application.

Harrogate Planners supported by the Harrogate  Planning Committe threw out an application at Hampsthwaite in Harrogate on the 28th November 2017.  CPRENY commissioned KVA Planning to draft our response to the application.

Take it down and comply with planning permission!  This building is an eyesore - we all have to comply with planning
